o     The installation of a MMW radio solution requires line-of-sight between the locations to be interconnected.

o     Where are you located?

ú         US Customers: In the United States both, AireBeam™ 60 GHz as well as AireBeam™ 70 GHz products can be installed.

ú         International Customers: AireBeam™ 70 GHz products can be installed  in many countries outside of the United States such as England, Ireland and Australia to mention a few. Contact our sales office for more information. 

o     Depending on your specific installation location, MMW radio solutions can operate at GbE speed over distances of several miles.

ú         However, similar to all other higher frequency microwave radio solutions, the statistical availability figure decreases with distance.

o     When picking a MMW radio solution:

ú          Consider the application

ú           Overall availability requirement

o     While distances are shorter for a primary network connection that requires a statistical availability of 99.99% or better, much longer distances can be bridged when availability requirement are less stringent in backup or redundancy applications.
